Maren Hoffman (Kosowski), Vice President of Communications

Maren auditioned to be a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader in 1999 and little did she know then how much it would influence her life. When she made the team in 1999, she was a full time student at the University of Minnesota. She continued to cheer until 2001 and then for 2 more great years from 2003 to 2005. In her last season, Maren served as a team captain and was selected as 1 of 3 cover girls for the 2004 swimsuit calendar. Running out on to the field in the Metrodome, traveling to Air Force bases in Florida and Texas and performing in front of 65,000 fans are just a few of her favorite memories. The best things that she has taken from her years on the team are the MVC friendships that she has today and the remarkable women she has had the pleasure to know.

Maren welcomed her first child with her husband Sean in 2008. Being a part of the MVCAE has been a great addition to her life and she especially enjoys the responsibility of formatting the newsletter that reaches so many MVC Alumni today.
